Sic Transit Gloria Mundi
“So passes the glory of the world.”
The Vineyards: Selected for their rare intensity and clarity, the vineyards for this vintage are characterized by deep, loam-rich soils that impart aromatic depth and complex, multi-layered flavors. Each year’s selection varies, reflecting the estate’s commitment to showcasing the distinctive qualities of our land.
The Wine: Hand-harvested and meticulously sorted, our grapes undergo a gentle winemaking process. Fermented in stainless steel with daily pigeage, the wine is composed mainly of free-run juice, with a minimal amount of press fraction. Aged for 24 months in neutral oak barrels, this vintage is bottled without fining or filtration, preserving its natural character.
Tasting Notes: This vintage offers a delicate, mineral structure with a slightly oxidative, old-world style. A rare glimpse into the estate’s philosophy, Sic Transit Gloria Mundi is a reflection of both the vineyard’s unique qualities and our dedication to traditional winemaking.
Experience the fleeting glory of a truly exceptional wine.
