In The Vineyard
The perfect Bordeaux blend is a lot like the perfect s’more: a complete contradiction. It has to be toasty but smooth, fluffy but crunchy, and bold but elegant. Achieving this balance requires drinking a lot of wine: we test scores of different blends to hit the bull’s eye.
Planted in 1998 on the Northwestern slopes of the Simonsberg in well-drained Duplex soil containing granite.
