Can i return a product if I am not satidfied?

If you are not satisfied with any of our products, simply return it as received. The product must not be opened. The product must be in the original package. You are responsible for shipping cost.

Is there a refund policy?

Yes! We offer refunds. You will receive 100% of your money back if for any reason you are not satisfied with the product you ordered. Keep in mind, you can not open any of our wines. No return or refund will be granted on any opened item.

Can I pay with my debit cards?

We accept Nigerian debit cards (visa/mastercard), bank/wire transfer, cash deposits and COD.

How long does it take to deliver a product after placing an order online?

Orders within Lagos are delivered same day (within 24 hours) while delivery of orders outside Lagos would take 2 – 3 working days.

How long will it take for my order to arrive after placing an order?

Orders within Lagos are delivered same day (within 24 hours) while delivery of orders outside Lagos would take 2 – 3 business days.

What is the cost of shipping?

We offer FREE shipping for orders within the Lagos metropolis. However, shipping of bulk order/orders outside Lagos may attract shipping charges.

Do I need to provide identification when I receive my order?

No, it is not necessary. Our partners will deliver the package according to the shipping address. Please make sure your address information is correct.

What should I do if I have found shipping damage or wrong items?

All Winestitute packages are in perfect conditions. Please check the packaging box for any signs of damage at point of receiving your order. If the box is damaged or items missing when you open the package, please contact our Winestitute Customer Service and we will help you troubleshoot the issue.

How can I track my order?

Return/Refund F.A.Q

How long do I have to return my purchase?

Return policy only applies to orders with damaged packaging or incomplete/incorrect delivery. Such claims must be verified at the point of delivery by our agent. Claims made after delivery and departure of our sales representative will be treated as VOID and INVALID. Valid claims for return will be undertaken by sales rep.

Will I be refunded the full value of my order?

Refunds are issued in the form of the original payment. Winestitute will provide a full refund for the value of the item (excluding shipping costs) in the same form as the original payment. All items being returned for a refund must have all original tags attached and must be in their original packaging.

 

 

How long will my refund take?

Refunds may take between 5-7 business days to process once an item has been delivered to our returns facility, and may vary depending upon the payment that was used for the original purchase.

Do you accept exchanges?

Yes! If you find out that the product you ordered was not correct or you had a change of mind after placing the order, you can simply return the order in the condition you received it. However, there will be a difference in price. You will also be responsible for the shipping cost to return an item.

How do I place an order?

To place an order, simply select the product that you want. Select the quantity and shipping method. Proceed to checkout. Select your payment method. We accept online payments using Nigeria debit cards. You can also pay transfer the funds directly to our bank. Account details will be shown on the invoice. We also accept COD but only to selected customers.

Do you deliver across Nigeria?

Yes! We deliver across Nigeria. We deliver same day (within 24 hours) for orders within the Lagos metropolis. Delivery outside Lagos will take approx 2 to 3 business days.

What is the cost of shipping?

Wine FAQ

What's the best temperature for serving wine?

As a general rule of thumb:
Red wine, 65 degrees (F).
White & rosé wine, 55 degrees (F).
Champagne & other bubbly, 45 degrees (F).

To get to those temperatures reds can normally just be kept in a cool cellar or closet. This is also called “cellar temperature.” Whites and rosés can be put in the fridge for a few hours.

It is actually easier to use an ice bucket though. Fill the bucket up with ice about 4/5ths, cover the ice with water. If the “room” temperature of your reds are over 65 degrees, immerse them for five minutes; whites and rosés for ten minutes; and bubblies for fifteen to twenty minutes.

How long can you keep a wine once it is opened?

Wine evolves once the bottle is opened and has a finite lifespan. It is the gradual exposure to oxygen that ages a wine. Once you open the wine, you are accelerating this procedure. The higher the alcohol, the more robust the wine. Most half-full bottles of wines and champagnes will oxidise overnight. Use a vacuvin to remove the air from the bottle. Fortified wines have been stabilised with the addition of spirit, so there is a little more leeway.

What is the best way to save leftover wine?

Leftover wine can be saved. The key point here is to keep oxygen away from the wine. When wine oxydizes, it degrades quickly and can soon turn into a good salad dressing vinegar.

Find a small container that will hold the wine that is left over to the point were the container is virtually overflowing. Cap the container with a cork or plug so that some of the wine does spill out. This way, you will have NO air bubble in the container.

Store the container in your refrigerator. When you are ready to drink it again, remove the container and let it warm-up to the desired drinking temperature, depending on whether it is red or white wine. You can store your wine this way for about 5 to 7 days. But I would not store it much longer than this.

Is wine good for you?

There is growing scientific evidence that regular moderate consumption of wine is good for you. Red wine in particular is said to reduce the risk of coronary heart disease. The cholesterol that blocks arteries is low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LPD). This is cleared from the blood by high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HPD). Both are carried in the blood. Moderate alcohol consumption produces a better balance of the two. In addition, alcohol has an anticoagulant effect which makes blood less likely to clot. There is also evidence that wine can reduce the risk of developing Alzheimer’s disease or having a stroke.
